Cemented Carbide Vacuum Sintering Furnace Introduction:

Cemented Carbide Vacuum Sintering Furnace operates under rough vacuum and protective gases such as argon and nitrogen. Because graphite crucible and graphite insulating layer are used in the furnace, it can not operate in oxygen atmosphere.
Horizontal design in the front and back of the furnace are equipped with double doors, easy to load and unload. Three different size furnaces can be customized according to customer requirements.
Medium frequency induction heating method is used in vacuum sintering furnace of cemented carbide. Water-cooled induction coils installed in the furnace. In the center of the coil, there is a graphite crucible, which acts as the base of the induced current and is surrounded by carbon felt as an insulating material.
The vacuum sintering furnace of cemented carbide has a maximum temperature of 1550 C and a rapid cooling (quenching) system, which is suitable for a series of sintering and heat treatment processes.
Cemented Carbide Vacuum Sintering Furnace Application:
Sintering furnace is an intermittent induction heating furnace. It is mainly used in the sintering process of cemented carbide, tungsten heavy alloy, stainless steel products, superalloy, magnetic materials, ceramic powder products and cemented carbide.
Cemented Carbide Vacuum Sintering Furnace Characteristics:
1. The furnace is a horizontal single chamber furnace. The shell and door are water-cooled jackets. The outer shell is made of carbon steel, while the inner shell is made of SS304 stainless steel. Compared with common carbon steel, stainless steel inner wall has the advantage of long-term use without rusting, and less adsorption of induced eddy current.
2. Easy access to all hot zone spaces through the front and back doors of the furnace. Manual clamping door seal.
3. Induction coils are covered with high quality alumina mortar to avoid short circuit between coils and carbon felt.
4. High vacuum pneumatic valve equipped with position indicator is used for automatic control of vacuum and gas system.
5. Two sets of gas flowmeters are used to control the flow of gas into the furnace.
6. Equipped with pressure sensors to monitor the pressure level in the chamber. In case of overpressure, the relief valve will regulate the pressure in the chamber.
7. Fast gas cooling (quenching) fittings include motors, impeller fans, built-in radiators and fan doors located in the heat shield.
